So, this is officially my first attempt at blogging. The goal is that I will be able to keep track of my running progress and maybe inspire a few of you in the process.
I am currently training for a half marathon…it’s next weekend. Eek! Though it’s my first race this year, I ran 3 half marathons last year. My plan for this spring/summer/fall is to do a half marathon each month (except July, there are 2) and run my first full marathon in September. Luckily I have some great girlfriends to run with, GlamGirlS, GlamGirlC and GlamGirlE. The race next weekend will be GlamGirlC’s first one ever! Way to go!
Today the plan is to do a long run….10 miles. It is currently pouring down rain 😦 We are going for it anyway, so wish us luck! I’ll let you know how it turns out.
